I am so excited to share my news with all of you! For the second time this year I have had a project published in Creative Scrapbooker Magazine. You can find my project in the Fall 2018 edition!
I have been asked to guest design for the Stick it Down Team this month.
This is the design sketch that I was given to work with. The first thing that I noticed is the eye catching pieces that are positioned in a triangular position. This is a quite popular design in card making and scrapbooking. It has a way of drawing the eye.
Here is my interpretation of the above sketch. I hope you enjoy it and also that you enjoy these last few precious days of summer.
Supplies used in the creation of this card are:
Doodle Bug Design– Sweet Summer Collection paper, cardstock, doodle-pops 3D sticker, Icon stickers (beach ball & ice cream)
Pinkfresh Studio– emphemera (last days & summer rays), enamel dots
These were all products that I received in my July SCT Sampler.
Just a quick post today to show you what I made with the rest of the stuff I bought at the dollar store the other day. (Same shopping trip,as the black tinted glasses that I etched in previous post! 😉)
I while back I bought 3 rolls of burlap from the dollar store for $3 per roll. I have hung onto this all summer but I did see that these rolls are still available at my local dollar store. I hope this is something that they stock regularly because it is a great deal and I want to make more burlap crafts!
I make this autumn wreath for about $12 in supplies and it took a little less than 1 hour to complete! ALL of the supplies came from Dollar Tree except for the burlap that was Dollarama.
In the craft section I found the wire wreath base in square and round shapes. I bought both but only used the round one for this project. The patterned wire ribbon, mesh, pumpkin 3 pack, leaves in a pack of 2, scarecrows in a pack of 2, metal word 3 pack (saved 2 for future projects) and 2 pack of bows. Each package or item was $1.25!
I loved making this project! I am going to have to try this dollar store crafting again!
I am back with one last project made for the Creative Moments Challenge Blog.
This week the challenge is SUMMER.
My sponsor for this weeks challenge is Rick St Dennis.
There are so many images and colouring pages to pick from so it was a hard to decision but since the theme was summer I chose the Helen’s Mice July digital stamp image!
Here is my finished project!
I coloured the images with my Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut around the images.
Patterned paper and tassel bow-Pinkfresh Studio
Miscellaneous gold sequins and lace ribbon
You can find these images and so many more at
National sewing day is just around the corner do the theme this week is “show some stitching, real or faux”
I had the pleasure of using a Knitty Kitty image this week!
The image that I have chosen is the Cupcake Kitty. I coloured the kitty with Prismacolor pencils. I just added faux stitching around the edge of the stripped patterned paper using a fine black marker.
Digital kitty stamp- Knitty Kitty
“sweet” sticker-Jillibean Soup
I think that I am going to send this cutie to my niece for her 7th birthday this month. I hope she likes it!
You all know that I love to make cards and scrapbook. Some of you may also know that I also love to make things with my Cricut, like t-shirts and more. I bet not all of you know that I also like to make jewellery and hair clips.
Here are a few of my favourite jewellery pieces that I have made. I have kept some for myself, given some away as gifts and sold a whole bunch. Please contact me for custom orders!
Just this week I made these dragon scale earrings.
Here are some necklaces that I made today!
Well, what do you think?
Welcome back! Today I am going to share my creation for the Creative Moments Challenge Blog Challenge #140.
The theme this time around is relaxing/ meditation as April 7 is apparently No Housework Day! I think everyday should be No Housework Day if you ask me!
My digital stamp is from Decosse‘s Dynamite Doodles.
There are lots of downloadable patterned papers, digital stamps and verses and sentiments. I have chosen a sentiment that I think sort of goes with the theme of relaxing/meditation. I have paired it up with a Tim Holtz stamp that suits the sentiment. All paper and cardstock is CTMH, coloured with Spectrum Noir markers.
I made a second card with another Decosse’s sentiment. I just printed it out and added some layers of Recollections cardstock and some paper flowers. It really was quite simple. Here it is>>>
Thanks for looking!
Welcome to my first Stamprints blog post. I am so excited to be a member of this very talented team! The image that I have chosen for my project this month is Baby Giraffe. You can find this adorable image here Stamprints Etsy.
I started by printing 2 of the images in two different sizes. I coloured the first smaller image in traditional giraffe colours . The slightly larger image was coloured with some fun, unexpected colours! I have used Spectrum Noir and Chameleon markers for both.
Here is the completed traditional card. I used some very old, retired CTMH paper, CTMH sequins, recollections cardstock, misc ribbon, and sentiment stamp by Kraftin Kimmie.
Here is the completed fun card! I have used DCWV patterned cardstock, AC vellum, misc sequins, and sentiment stamp by Kraftin Kimmie.
You can see more from Stamprints here on the Stamprints Blog.
Wow is it really March already? I was hoping that March would bring some nicer weather than February did but so far it is not! At least with the cold, snowy weather I have had plenty of time to get crafty!
The theme for this challenge is International Women’s Day which is on March 8.
The image that I have chosen to celebrate this Women’s Day is the Fredericka Debutante digital stamp. Fredericka is a beautiful stamp!
Supplies used digital stamp by Polkadoodles, sentiment stamp by Kraftin Kimmie, patterned paper and sequins by CTMH, Recollections cardstock, Doodlebug Design heart clip, misc ribbon, Spectrum Noir markers, Chameleon markers, scrapbook Adhesives By 3L 3D foam squares
