Lazy Days & Summer Rays -Stick it Down
I have been asked to guest design for the Stick it Down Team this month.
I know summer is winding down for most of us but there are a few days left to enjoy. I made this card as an ode to summer!
This is the design sketch that I was given to work with. The first thing that I noticed is the eye catching pieces that are positioned in a triangular position. This is a quite popular design in card making and scrapbooking. It has a way of drawing the eye.
Here is my interpretation of the above sketch. I hope you enjoy it and also that you enjoy these last few precious days of summer.
Supplies used in the creation of this card are:
Doodle Bug Design– Sweet Summer Collection paper, cardstock, doodle-pops 3D sticker, Icon stickers (beach ball & ice cream)
Pinkfresh Studio– emphemera (last days & summer rays), enamel dots
These were all products that I received in my July SCT Sampler.
